We had another really beautiful day yesterday... We've been taking advantage of these nice days as they come, knowing that, here in New England, it might be snowing tomorrow! We've been cleaning up the yard and the garden beds and have started our seedlings, which are happily sprouting on the kitchen counter, patiently waiting until they can be planted out in the garden. We've begun planning the cutting garden we're going to put on the side of the house... so far we're planning on Cosmos, zinnia, bells of Ireland and daisies.
But the very best part of all this lovely spring weather? Harry finally WANTS to go outside to play! Poor child hates winter more than anything, and it's been impossible to get him outside except to go to and from the car. But lately, with these warm days, it's been hard to get him into the house! And I couldn't be happier.
Today we are heading off on another big spring adventure... We're visiting Turtle Lane Maple Farm with our homeschool group! Pictures to follow, of course!
